Summit is a time for Certified CARE Instructors and CARE Interns to gather together to learn\, grow\, discuss\, network\, make new friends and reconnect with old friends. \nThe CCI Summit is open to all CCIs and above\, and also CARE Interns. All CCIs are required to attend Summit for the first five years of certification. After five years\, attendance is required at least once every two years. Distant CARE Instructors are required to attend at least one Summit during their first two years as a CCI\, and at least once every three years thereafter. CIs may attend but are not required to do so. \nAbsences may be excused due to extenuating circumstances upon a request to CARE with approval.
