DESCRIPTION:THIS WILL BE A TWO-DAY WORKSHOP IN RAINDROP\, VITAFLEX\, AND HISTORY OF ANOINTING AND LAYING ON OF HANDS  \n14 hours in the theory and practical applications of essential oils\, as well as 14 hours of continuing education for massage therapists\, body workers\, physical therapists\, and other professionals. \nPARTICIPANTS COMPLETING THE TRAINING WILL: \n\nUNDERSTAND THE FUNDAMENTALS OF AROMATHERAPY\nLEARN TO APPLY USEFUL SKILLS IN VITAFLEX\nLEARN TO DO RAINDROP TECHNIQUE\n\nCONTINUING EDUCATION CREDIT \nThe Center for Aromatherapy Research and Education (CARE) is approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) as a Continuing Education Approved Provider. This Seminar is worth 14 CE-hrs of credit through NCBTMB. The 14 Hours of Credit for this seminar are the first step toward becoming a Certified Raindrop Technique Specialist (CRTS) through the Natural Therapies Certification Board (NTCB). Completing this seminar is also the first and basic set of requirements toward becoming a Certified CARE Instructor (CCI)\, should you wish to pursue a teaching career with CARE. There is an additional 11 hours of CARE class time required in order to move forward with these certifications. \nDay 1 – September 14th – Saturday \n10:00 – 10:30am – Introduction to CARE \n10:30 – 12:30pm – History of Anointing and Laying on of Hands \n12:30 – 1:30pm – Lunch \n1:30 – 6:00pm – Applied Vitaflex \n  \nDay 2 – September 15th – Sunday \n9:00 – 1:00pm – Raindrop Technique (First Half) \n1:00 – 2:00pm – Lunch \n2:00 – 6:00pm – Raindrop Technique (Second Half) \nCredit Hours & Pricing: \nHistory of Anointing – $45.00 \n2 Credit hours \n  \nApplied Vitaflex – $160.00 \n4 Credit hours \n  \nRaindrop – $365.00 \n8 Credit hours \n  \nThe CARE 2 Day Seminar w/HAL package price – $570.00 \n14 credit hours \n  \nLIMITATIONS OF CLASS SIZE \nRegistrations for Raindrop and Vitaflex are limited to keep class sizes small for better hands-on attention and training. CARE limits Raindrop and Vitaflex to 10 students per instructor. \nAs for the History of Anointing\, it is a demonstration/lecture class\, and there is no limitation on class size beyond the seating capacity of the room. It is open to the public at the ala carte price. \nPRE-REQUISITES \nCARE Vitaflex is required before taking Raindrop.\nNote: Raindrop will be given in two separate sessions. It is required that you attend both sessions to receive a certificate of completion. \nREFUNDS \nFull refund less $50 for processing for cancellations no later than two weeks before the seminar date \nWHAT IS INCLUDED \nClass Notes\, Necessary Oils\, Handouts\, and Certificates acknowledging your participation in the course or courses taken are all included in seminar fees. \nWHAT TO BRING \nBring two (2) sheets\, two (2) bath towels\, and one (1) hand towel. Extras will be supplied in class. \nSEMINAR BOOKSTORE \nTexts and videos required for CCIs may be available for sale at the seminar. Check with your CARE Instructor for more details.  You may also purchase applicable books and DVDs from www.raindroptraining.com. \nPREPARATION \nIt is a good idea to purchase the CARE DVDs/Videos on Raindrop and Vitaflex to review ahead of class in preparation for the hands-on training. Your fingernails must also be very short and filed smooth on the edges and corners. Clippers and files will be available in class. With long nails you will not be able to do all of the Vitaflex and Raindrop techniques. If you cannot perform all of the techniques taught in class because of long nails\, you may not receive credit for the class.
